GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Karly Murphy enjoyed a career afternoon this past weekend when Green Bay defeated No. 23/23 Marquette, 63-55, at the Kress Center.
The redshirt freshman notched her first career double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds, a new career best, in 32 minutes on Saturday.
Murphy has played a large roll in her first official season on the court with Green Bay, averaging 8.4 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game.
The standout forward has also proved to be incredibly efficient in her 18.7 minutes per game and owns the second-best field-goal percentage on the team at 51% (26-51).
Green Bay and Murphy will return to the court on Wednesday in Dayton, Ohio at 10 a.m. against the Flyers.
