Green Bay Athletics invites all former student-athletes to join Varsity GB and join in Hall of Fame & Varsity GB Weekend activities on January 25-28, 2018. Over 150 former athletes have already joined the group in 2017 and the department hopes to continue to grow the membership.

VARSITY GB WEEKEND 2018
Varsity GB weekend will include two complimentary tickets to each of the weekend's basketball home games and an invitation to a Varsity GB pre-game reception. Here is the lineup of events for this year:

Men's Basketball vs. Cleveland State (televised on ESPN3) - 7:00 p.m. @ Resch Center
Additional Guests (at discounted pricing): Adults $9 & Kids $6 for Zone C; Adults $14 & Kids $6 for Zone A

Friday, January 26 2018
Varsity GB reception - 6:00 p.m. @ Kress Events Center (Phoenix Fund Room)
Women's Basketball vs. UIC (televised on ESPN3) - 7:00 p.m. @ Kress Events Center

Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Details:
The official Green Bay Phoenix Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place Saturday, January. 27, 2018 from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Phoenix Rooms on UW-Green Bay's Campus. Tickets are $35 for the general public and $25 for Phoenix Fund and Varsity GB members. Those planning to attend are required to RSVP to pouliotn@uwgb.edu. Business attire encouraged. Deadline to RSVP is January 19th.

Tickets will be good for the reception (heavy hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided and there will be a cash bar available) and induction. The reception will open at 5:00 p.m. and the induction will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.

The class will also be recognized during media timeouts at the January 26^th Women's Basketball game against UIC and the January 27^th Men's Basketball game against Youngstown State.

WHAT IS VARSITY GB?
Varsity GB strives to help all Green Bay letterwinners after their days at Green Bay are over. In "the real world," the established, sizeable and powerful network of Green Bay letterwinners is an invaluable source, of advice, mentoring, connections and introductions.  Varsity GB serves as a conduit to the Green Bay network; as a catalyst for a highly successful transition from Green Bay to life after Green bay. All letterwinners are considered part of Varsity GB free of charge.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
All former student-athletes of UW-Green Bay who have completed at least one year of competition in a sport will be considered a member of Varsity GB.
