GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Allie LeClaire led Green Bay with a season-high 28 points on Saturday afternoon as the Phoenix defeated in-state rival Milwaukee at home, 52-29. LeClaire finished 10-for-15 from the field combined with a 5-for-9 mark from beyond the arc. The guard also doled out three assists, grabbed two rebounds and swiped five steals in 30 minutes. The win improved Green Bay to 12-2 on the season and 2-1 in Horizon League play.
The 29 points scored by the Panthers is the lowest in program history, besting the previous mark of 32 points also set against the Phoenix in the 2016 Horizon League Tournament Championship that saw Green Bay emerge with a 64-32 victory and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Green Bay will continue its home stand next week when the team welcomes Youngstown State to the Kress Center on Thursday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. The game is also season ticket holder appreciation night and will feature a Bud Light Yeti Cooler giveaway.
