GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Following a stellar senior season and career with the Phoenix,
Jessica Lindstrom has been extended an invitation to the Los Angeles Sparks' WNBA Training camp at the end of April.
Lindstrom impressed at a combine earlier this year and after pairing that with her performances this season, the invitation comes as no surprise for the Superior, Wis., native.
Lindstrom is the only player in the program's division I history to surpass 900 rebounds, capping off her career with 1,030. She also set the record for most double-doubles in a career with 41 and was the only player in the Horizon League to average a double-double this season.
Lindstrom was a first-team All-Horizon League member as well as an all-defensive team selection in her senior season. She was a member of the all-tournament team for the second-straight season, one year removed from garnering HL Tournament MVP honors.
Lindstrom is the fifth player in the program's rich history to play in the WNBA in some capacity.
