GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) -- The 18th Annual Phoenix Packers Steak Fry presented by Prevea Health included nearly 900 Phoenix fans in a packed Lambeau Field Atrium who helped raise a net profit of over $177,000 for the Phoenix Fund.
Thanks to support from sponsors, attendees and those who purchased raffle tickets, the event is able to maximize funds that will directly benefit the Phoenix Fund, the principal fund for scholarships and program support at Green Bay. The event has now netted over $700,000 in the past four years alone.
"The Phoenix Packers Steak Fry is an incredible opportunity for Green Bay Athletics to connect with the community and showcase our unique partnership with the Green Bay Packers in a night celebrating the success of the previous season and looking ahead for what's on tap next year. The financial impact from this one-night event will help elevate our program to the next level," said Director of Athletics

Student-athletes representing the 16 Green Bay Phoenix programs attended, along with several Green Bay Packers alumni, players and personnel. The annual event drew the attention of all four local TV stations in the Green Bay area, with two of them going live throughout the night.
University Chancellor Dr. Gary L. Miller welcomed the crowd and thanked the attendees for their support, while continuing to emphasize the importance of the Phoenix Fund as Green Bay competes at the Division I level.
