GREEN BAY (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- St. Norbert College has named Green Bay assistant
Amanda Leonhard-Perry the new head coach of its women's basketball program. Leonhard-Perry replaces Connie Tilley, who announced her retirement after 42 seasons with the Green Knights.
Leonhard-Perry has been a member of the Green Bay staff for the past 11 years, serving as an assistant for the under both
Kevin Borseth and former coach Matt Bollant.
"I would like to thank St. Norbert College for the opportunity to be its women's basketball coach,"?Leonhard-Perry said. "I would also like to thank everyone at Green Bay for the past 11 years - it is a special place and will always be important to me.
The Phoenix owned an impressive 333-62 during her tenure, went to the NCAA Tournament eight times and won 10 Horizon League regular-season conference titles.
Among her duties, Leonhard-Perry worked with Green Bay's guards and aided in recruiting, directed camps and assisted in film breakdown.
The 2003 Green Bay graduate was a standout guard for the Phoenix, finishing her career with 1,097 points, 332 assists, 189 steals and 114 3-pointers.
