GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - In the most recent installment of Flying with the Phoenix presented by Frontier Airlines, meet first-year assistant coach Brian Barone. Barone, a former teammate of head coach Brian Wardle's, joined the Green Bay staff last May and focuses on offense and guard play.

During the video, Barone discusses his role on Wardle's staff, his transition to Green Bay and his relationship with Wardle now and when they were teammates at Marquette.  

Flying with the Phoenix: Meet Brian Barone debuted on Tuesday, Dec. 7 as a feature on Inside Phoenix Basketball, a live weekly coaches show dedicated to the Green Bay men's and women's basketball teams. The show is held Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at The Bar on Holmgren Way and carried live on GreenBayPhoenix.com.

Throughout the course of the 2010-11 season, GreenBayPhoenix.com and PhoenixFlix will be giving fans behind-the-scenes access to the men's basketball program through Flying with the Phoenix presented by Frontier Airlines, a series of videos, feature stories and blog entries on GreenBayPhoenix.com. Flying with the Phoenix will aim to provide Green Bay fans an inside look at the program during Wardle's first season.
