GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The 2011-12 television and radio schedules for the Green Bay men's and women's basketball teams will include a total of 13 games televised on Time Warner Sports32, Green Bay Director of Athletics Ken Bothof and Time Warner Sports32 general manager Mark Strachota announced Wednesday.

On the men's side, home games against UIC (Dec. 1), Valparaiso (Jan. 26) and Cleveland State (Feb. 21) and road contests at Butler (Dec. 29) and at UIC (Feb. 25) will be broadcast with Green Bay's crew. Chris Roth (play-by-play) will serve as the play-by-play announcer for all five contests while Jeff Nordgaard will be the color analyst for the three home games. Nordgaard is a Phoenix Hall of Famer who is the program's third all-time leading scorer, tallying 1,911 points from 1992-96.

In addition, road games at Marquette (Dec. 10) and Milwaukee (Jan. 7) will be televised by Sports32 using the home teams' respective crews. Two Horizon League Network Games of the Week featuring Green Bay - home games against Wright State (Jan. 14) and Milwaukee (Feb. 4) - will also be shown on Sports32.

The men's basketball team will also appear on television on at least six other occasions, including five on the ESPN family of networks. The games include a home game against Butler (ESPNU, Jan. 28) and away games at Virginia (ESPNU, Nov. 25), Wisconsin (ESPN3.com, Dec. 7), Cleveland State (ESPNU or ESPN3, Jan. 20), Wright State (ESPNU or ESPN3, Feb. 10) and Detroit (Fox Sports Detroit, Feb. 12).

Roth will also serve as the play-by-play announcer for three women's basketball home games and will be joined on the broadcast by Mary Kulenkamp-Simonsen, who played for the Phoenix from 2001-05. The duo will broadcast games against Marquette (Dec. 2), Milwaukee (Feb. 4) and Detroit (Feb. 9). The team's away contest at Milwaukee (Jan. 7) will also be televised on Sports32.

Radio broadcasts of the entire schedule of home and away games for both programs will be carried live by The Fan WDUZ 107.5 FM and 1400 AM. Matt Menzl and Cordero Barkley will be the play-by-play and color analysts, respectively for the home games while Andrew Gavin will handle the color duties on the road. Barkley played for the Phoenix during current head coach Brian Wardle's tenure as an assistant coach from 2005-10. Bruce VandenPlas will broadcast the women's games at home and on the road.

Both teams will have one final tune-up before the 2011-12 season gets underway. The men's team will play on Friday at 7 p.m. against Lawrence at the Kress Events Center while the women's team hosts Cedarville Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets for the men's contest are just $10 for adults and $7 for youth while tickets for the women's game are just $5.
