BOWLING GREEN, Ohio. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men's basketball team was outscored 50-32 in the second hahlf of its defeat versus Murray State on Saturday evening at the Stroh Center in its first game of the Bill Frack Tournament. The Phoenix (1-2) led at the half but the Racers (2-1) were able to come alive in the second half and hand Green Bay its second straight loss.
Three players recorded double-figures for Green Bay, led by Charles Cooper's 17 points. Trevor Anderson added 15 points, while senior Turner Botz came through with 12 points.
The Phoenix led by as many as nine points, but Murray State displayed a strong shooting effort in the second half.
