GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Join Green Bay Athletics for the 2019 Legends on the Links at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club on Monday, September 23, 2019 in Egg Harbor, Wis. Formerly known as the Mark King Invitational, the new name represents the continued partnership with King, and will pair you with a UWGB legend or recognizable friend of the program.

With King's continued creative and generous support for his alma mater, we are able to continue to offer you a first class golfing experience. This year's event will feature teams of three being paired with a "Legend" confirmed Legends include: Dave Buss, Chari Nordgaard, Jeff Nordgaard, Ron Ripley, Aldo Santaga, Murphy (WIXX) and several Green Bay Packers Alumni. Teams will have the choice to compete in the "Best Ball" or "Scramble" division.
 
The day at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club gets underway at 10 am with registration/range practice, lunch reception and legends introductions at 11 am, 12 pm shotgun start and will conclude with a brief social and award recognition. A shuttle will be provided from Green Bay to Egg Harbor to anyone who wishes to utilize that option.

Event proceeds benefit the Phoenix Fund, which supports scholarships and programming for nearly 250 student-athletes in 16 sport programs.
