ORLANDO, Fla. – The Horizon League Golf Championships are in full swing, with Green Bay women's golf sitting in third, and the men in seventh at the end of day one.

On the women's side, the team was consistent from top to bottom. Courtney Matschke and Katie Warpinski each shot a 76 to lead the Phoenix. Isabelle Maleki, who was named Horizon League Golfer of the Week on April 7, was on their heels with a 77. Ashley Kulka, who was tabbed Golfer of the Week on March 31^st, shot a 79 alongside Caylie Kotlowski. Matschke and Warpinski are tied for seventh overall out of 43 participants, while Maleki is in 10^th. Kulka and Kotlowski are tied for 16^th overall. As a team, they are just two strokes back from first place.

On the men's side, Max Pasher led the way with a score of 73, tied for 12^th overall out of 49 participants. Joe Forsting shot a 74, best for a tie in 20^th place. Ryan Schuelke snuck inside the top 30 by shooting a 77. Austin Schnell shot a 79, and Zak Kulka rounded out the squad with an 82.
