LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Thursday afternoon the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced 381 student-athletes from 152 programs recevied 2022 NFCA Division I All-Region accolades, including the first ever All-Region selections in the Green Bay softball program. Sophomore Jadin Justman was named to the Great Lakes All-Region First Team, while Graduate Student Alicia Peters was named to the Great Lakes All-Region Third Team.

NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated student-athletes and voted for the teams. All awarded student-athletes are now eligible for the 2022 NFCA Division I All-America squads. Green Bay was the only Horizon League school to receive any honors.

2022 DI ALL-REGION TEAMS

Justman, a Horizon League First Team selection, finished the season in the top five of many HL offensive categories. At the end of the season, the Horicon, Wis. native finished fifth in batting average (.346), on base percentage (.411), slugging percentage (.571), and OPS (.982). She also led Green Bay and was second in the league with 34 RBI.

Peters, the Horizon League Player of the Year had one of the best seasons in Green Bay softball history. While breaking the single season home run record with 12 home runs, Peters also finished fifth in single season batting average (.383), first in slugging percentage (.783), and first in on base percentage (.507).
