INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – She's done it again! The Horizon League announced this afternoon that Jadin Justman is the #HLSB Player of the Week, marking the second time she has garnered the award this season. Green Bay's second baseman previously took home the accolade on February 28.
Justman was scorching hot at the dish this past weekend against Detroit Mercy, helping guide the Phoenix to a pair of wins over the Titans on Saturday, which clinched a postseason spot for GB. She posted a .667 batting average across nine at-bats while tallying six hits, two walks, three RBIs, and three runs scored. The Horicon, Wis. native also smacked two doubles, breaking the Green Bay all-time doubles record with the latter. That double also scored two runs and broke the game open for Green Bay in an eventual 6-0 win against Detroit Mercy on Saturday.
Justman and the Phoenix will be in action on Wednesday at King Park to kick off the 2023 Horizon League Championship. First pitch is at noon and can be streamed on ESPN+. Follow every pitch in real-time with live stats.
