GREEN BAY, Wis. - Under the direction of Mike Kline, the Assistant AD for Academic Services, Green Bay Phoenix student-athletes continued an impressive streak this spring in the classroom by posting a 3.50 GPA. The department has notched 46 consecutive semesters with a 3.0 GPA or better, a streak that dates back to the spring semester of 2000.
Women's golf paced the department with a 3.86 team GPA, while the women's soccer team had 14 student-athletes with a 3.75 GPA or better. Thirteen of the 14 athletic programs at UWGB recorded a GPA of 3.2 or better, including nine with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
For the fall 2022 semester, the women's golf team impressed with a 3.9 GPA. In all, 140 of GB's 217 student-athletes had a 3.5 GPA or better, while 83.4 percent of the student-athletes had a 3.0 or better.
