GREEN BAY, Wis. - Women's basketball head coach
Kevin Borseth has announced the promotion of
Patrick Bowlin to assistant coach. Bowlin originally joined the Phoenix prior to the 2021-22 season and served as the Director of Basketball Operations for the past two seasons.
"Patrick has done a phenomenal job as our Director of Basketball Operations and has now been promoted to Assistant Coach with on-court and recruiting responsibilities," Borseth said. "Patrick is passionate about the coaching field and I am excited to have him continue to be a part of the staff in this new role for him."
Prior to his time at Green Bay, Bowlin spent four years as a head coach for girls basketball at the high school level, spending time at Rogers High School (Rogers, MN) and Totino-Grace High School (Fridley, MN). Bowlin has also coached at UW-Green Bay in the past, spending time with the volleyball program as an assistant in 2013-14. He spent time at St. Thomas as an assistant volleyball coach from 2016-19. Bowlin also spent time as the head softball coach at Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN), where he led the team to a MSHSL Section Championship in 2021.
"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to move into an assistant coaching role with the Phoenix," Bowlin said. "Coaching is a passion of mine, and I'd like to thank Coach Borseth for this amazing opportunity. Green Bay is a special place, and I'm excited to take on some new roles and responsibilities and help our program continue to thrive."
