CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – After a dominant season on the links, the Green Bay women's golf team continues to impress in the classroom. Yesterday afternoon, the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced that the team finished sixth in the nation in GPA among all Division I institutions. Marshall University won the All-Scholar Award after notching a 3.945 GPA, not far ahead of Michigan State's 3.932.

"It is amazing what this group has accomplished even after the completion of the season," said head coach Lee Reinke. "I am very proud of the team!".

The women's team crushed it in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year, posting a 3.857 GPA, the best in the conference. Green Bay tallies another academic achievement after being rewarded the Raise Your Sights Award by the Horizon League back in June.

Leading Division II was St. Mary's University (TX), as the team's eight members averaged a 3.925 GPA, while Middlebury College led Division III with a 3.859 average GPA. In NAIA, the University of Pikeville led the division with a GPA of 3.833, while Iowa Western Community College topped the NJCAA with a 3.815 GPA.
