INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League recently announced the 2023 spring Academic Honor Roll and Green Bay tallied 90 student-athletes on the list.
Overall, 1,260 student-athletes garnered the honor, with Youngstown State pacing the conference with 167. Women's cross country/Track & Field led all eligible sports with 181 honorees. All 11 member schools and 19 HL sports were represented on the list.
A dozen of GB's 14 athletic programs are represented, with 17 women's swimming and diving honorees on the list. Women's swimming and diving had a strong academic year, tallying 19 honorees after the 2022 fall semester.
Candidates for the Honor Roll must meet three criteria to qualify:
- Participation in at least one of the League's 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season.
- Completion of three semesters (or four quarters, where applicable) as a full-time student at the same member institution.
- A cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale).
