GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay swimming and diving team announced today the hiring of Jerry Mansavage as a Graduate Assistant Coach. A four-year letterwinner of the men's swim and dive team, Mansavage brings Division I experience to the coaching ranks.
"I am extremely happy that Jeremiah will be joining us as a Graduate Assistant Coach for our swimming & diving team here at UW-Green Bay," said Head Coach Alex Lewis. "I had the privilege to coach him these past two years and his passion for the program and desire to learn will only help our program continue the momentum it is undeniably building! The future is bright!"
Mansavage finished his swim career on multiple high notes last season, exploding to a career-best of 50.64 and a first-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke against St. Norbert. He also tallied first-place finishes in the 400-yard medley relay against Northern Michigan and the 200-yard medley versus Milwaukee.
His experience goes beyond UWGB. From 2017-2022, he served as a lifeguard and manager at the Fort Atkinson Aquatic Center in his hometown of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Mansavage is currently an Administrative Assistant for UWGB Housing and Residential Education.
