INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced the Valeo #HLGOLF All-Academic awards this morning, and two Green Bay men's golfers garnered the honors.
Zak Kulka earned conference all-academic honors for the fifth time in his career, receiving distinction in both semesters of the 2021-22 and 2020-21 academic year. His collegiate career recently concluded at the Horizon League Championships, where he snuck into the top five overall, earning All-Tournament honors.
Joe Forsting was named the men's golf Honorable Mention, the first time he's earned the award in his career. Forsting's career also came to an end at the Horizon League Championships, where he finished in a tie for 43rd place overall. He completed the Wright State Spring Invite in an eight-way tie for 17th place and had perhaps his best outing of the spring season when he finished seven over par for a ninth-place completion of the Western Illinois Spring Invite.
