GREEN BAY, Wis. – The 2024 Green Bay men's soccer schedule was announced by Head Coach
John O'Reilly. GB is slated to play 20 contests, including two exhibitions (one at home and one on the road). The Phoenix has 10 regular season road games and eight home games on the docket.

"We are all very much looking forward to the fall 2024 season," said O'Reilly. "The schedule is a great test for our team as we fight to defend our Horizon League Championship. We will be challenged as a group throughout the season to achieve our goal of returning to the NCAAÂ Tournament. For me personally, I couldn't be more excited to get the team back together in August and get to work in my first season leading this program."
Green Bay will host Marquette for an early August exhibition game before visiting the Wisconsin Badgers to conclude preseason play on August 17. The Green and White will open regular season action at Northwestern on August 22, marking the second season in a row the Phoenix and Wildcats will play. It'll be the first time GB has played in Evanston consecutively since the 2004 and 2007 seasons. The Phoenix and Northwestern played to a tough 0-0 draw last season at a time when the Wildcats were ranked 12th in the country. Green Bay will end the month of August by visiting former Horizon League rival UIC (Aug. 25) before hosting Southern Indiana (Aug. 29).
The Phoenix play three of the first five September games at home. GB faces Northern Illinois (Sept. 1) on the road and welcomes Chicago State on Sept. 6. Green Bay last played NIU in 2021 but hasn't visited the Huskies since 2015. After going to Peoria, Illinois to battle Bradley (Sept. 9), Green Bay will open Horizon League play at Aldo Santaga Stadium on Sept. 14 against Detroit Mercy before hosting Parkside on Sept. 17. GB will have a chance to rest up in the final two weeks of the month with only two games slated, first on Sept. 21 at Purdue Fort Wayne. The Phoenix will end the month at home versus Cleveland State, which will mark the 50
th matchup all time between GB and the Vikings.
GB will open October with a pair of road games at Wright State (Oct. 5) and St. Thomas (Sept. 9). The contest against WSU will be the 40
th between GB and the Raiders, while the Phoenix will play the Tommies for a fourth consecutive year. Following the match against St. Thomas, Green Bay will return home for a clash against Northern Kentucky. The Phoenix follow that up with a return to Western Michigan for the first time since GB faced WMU in the NCAA Tournament last season. Green Bay will keep heading east for another Horizon League battle with Robert Morris before coming back home to end the season with two of three at Aldo Santaga Stadium. GB hosts IUPUI on October 20, visits Oakland for a Horizon League Championship Game rematch on November 2, and concludes the campaign against Milwaukee on November 6. The Phoenix defeated MKE last season to bring home the Chancellor's Cup for the first time since 2019.
