GREEN BAY, Wis. – Green Bay student-athletes are continuing a long-standing streak of success in the classroom. After the department posted a 3.57 GPA in the spring of 2024, Phoenix student-athletes have made it 49 consecutive semesters with a 3.0 or better GPA. The department's 3.57 spring 2024 GPA is tied for the highest in department history, with all 14 programs attaining a 3.57 GPA in the spring of 2020.
Under the direction of Mike Kline, the Assistant AD for Academic Services, all 14 of GB's Division I varsity programs achieved a semester grade point average of 3.36 or higher, with 11 of the 14 eclipsing a 3.53. The men's golf team had the highest GPA among all Green Bay programs, registering a 3.81, which earned them the
Raise Your Sights Award from the Horizon League. Women's basketball was right behind with a 3.81 GPA.
