GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay men's soccer program is excited to announce plans for its annual Alumni Weekend, which is slated for October 25-26, 2024.

This year's alumni weekend is named in honor of Gene Wehking, who was responsible for helping bring several high-level players to GB in the 1970s and 1980s. He sent his four sons and his first grandson to play with the Green and White, as well as multiple St. Louis area players to Titletown. One of those players was Mark Wehking, who was part of the Green Bay Phoenix Hall of Fame class of 1994 and a 1975 All-American, becoming one of just eight All-Americans in program history.

Below is the itinerary for the 2024 Gene Wehking Soccer Alumni Homecoming Weekend.

Friday, October 25

• Alumni gathering – Green Bay Distillery
  • 835 Mike McCarthy Way, Green Bay, Wis.
  • Menu
  • Private space and cash bar

Saturday, October 26

• 12:00 PM - Alumni tailgate at Aldo Santaga Stadium
• 1:00 PM – Green Bay vs. IU Indy
• 4:00 PM – Reception at The Woods
  • 530 Erie Road, Green Bay, Wis.
  • Open to all GB Soccer family, friends, and alumni
  • Social hour: 4:00 PM
  • Dinner: 5:00 PM – dinner provided with a cash bar
