INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League has unveiled the student-athletes who will represent the 11 HL institutions and comprise the Horizon League Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Ellie Frisch (women's golf) and Riley Siltman (men's cross country) were nominated to represent Green Bay. Siltman will also be part of the resources cabinet. Each of the League's member institutions is represented by two student-athletes on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
"Riley and Ellie exemplify what it means to be a Green Bay Student-Athlete", said Director of Athletics Josh Moon. "They both excel in their respective sports, in the classroom, and in the community and we are proud that they will take on this leadership role with the Horizon League."
Horizon League SAAC participated in an in-person meeting in early June and will continue to meet over several videoconferences throughout the academic year. Additionally, SAAC members will serve as Cabinet members in the Horizon League governance structure while two student-athletes will also represent the student-athlete voice and hold one vote on the League Council, alongside all 11 Athletics Directors, one Faculty Athletics Representative, and one Senior Woman Administrator.
