Green Bay Collaborating with Georgia-Pacfic for Toilet Paper Toss on Oct. 30

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Green Bay Athletics is excited to announce that the first-ever Toilet Paper Toss presented by Georgia-Pacific is set for Thursday, Oct. 30 at 6:00 p.m. when the Phoenix men's basketball team faces St. Norbert in an exhibition game at the Kress Center.

WHY?
Green Bay has long been known as The Toilet Paper Capital of the World thanks in large part to Georgia-Pacific and its rich history in Northeastern Wisconsin.

"For more than a century, Georgia-Pacific has been proud to operate in Green Bay, producing trusted brands like Angel Soft®, Brawny®, and Compact® while contributing to the local economy," said John Nundahl, vice president of manufacturing at Georgia-Pacific's Green Bay Operations. "We're committed to supporting our community and education partners through engaging events like this, and we proudly embrace Green Bay's title as the toilet paper capital of the world."

WHAT IS HAPPENING ON OCT. 30?
All fans in attendance will receive a free roll of Angel Soft® toilet paper courtesy of Georgia-Pacific to throw on the court when the Phoenix score their first points of the game. Play on the court will be stopped to clean up all the toilet paper, which will be given back to Georgia-Pacific to recycle.

HAS THIS BEEN DONE BEFORE?
Yes. Other universities such as Central Michigan University and John Brown University have been doing a Toilet Paper toss game, but there is only one city known as the Toilet Paper Capital of the World, Green Bay.

WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?
Individual game tickets will be available for purchase on Oct. 1 and can be purchased HERE. UWGB students get in free with a valid student ID.
