GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay men's basketball team ended its preseason action at the Kress Center with an end-to-end win over the St. Norbert Green Knights, 75-48.

The Phoenix had four players score in double figures, led by Josh Hines, who had 13 points on a perfect night, shooting 5-of-5 from the field, and 3-of-3 from beyond the arc. Marcus Hall, Maruan Cicic, and Dontrell Hewlett scored exactly ten points each, with Hewlett shooting 4-of-8 from the floor and 2-of-2 from deep, and Hall shooting 4-of-6 from the field and 2-of-3 from long range.

St. Norbert's lone double-digit scoring player was Connor Pytleski, who scored 11 points for the Green Knights on 5-of-11 shooting in a team-high 26 minutes.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The two teams each started with layups, with the first Phoenix basket scored by Marcus Hall on a Dontrell Hewlett dish to the unique sight of toilet paper flying from the Kress Center crowd. The teams stayed neck and neck early, trading the lead in the game's first minutes. A triple from Hewlett pushed the Phoenix ahead 10-7. GB then continued to widen the margin, eventually taking a 33-17 lead into the half.

Green Bay rolled through the second half, with a slam dunk by Vukasin Todorovic putting the Green & White up 20 late. The Phoenix cruised the rest of the way to a 75-48 victory.
