KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Green Bay volleyball assistant coach
Jim Dwyer will be speaking at the AVCA Convention in Kansas City, Missouri, on December 18. Dwyer will join a panel titled 'Leading the Game Early: Building a Coaching Career Before 30' with three other young college coaches.
The panel will feature:
- Jordan Rosenberg - Head Men's Coach at Indiana Institute of Technology (NAIA)
- Kelly Magliano - Head Men's Coach at Roosevelt University (NCAA D2)
- Jim Dwyer - Assistant Women's Coach at UW Green Bay (NCAA D1)
- Morgan Lemner - Assistant Women's Coach at University of West Florida (NCAA D2)
The panel's objective is to help younger coaches get a holistic view to learn about the different levels and sides of the game as a coach, talk about the things that aren't always talked about when you decide to enter Collegiate Coaching, and create a vision for what advancement within your volleyball career will look like.
"I'm excited to speak for the first time at the AVCA Convention and share what I've learned over the course of my career in growth and leadership," said Dwyer. "I'm grateful to help other coaches navigate their path and help elevate the sport through shared stories."
"Jim represents everything we value in GBVB: curiosity, connection, and a commitment to growth. I'm excited for him to represent our program at the AVCA Convention," added head coach
Abbey Sutherland.
