GREEN BAY, Wis. – Green Bay Athletics has announcing the hiring of Danilynn Schell as the Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Fan Engagement. Schell, a former Phoenix Volleyball student-athlete, will help to oversee the Phoenix game day environment while implementing new and exciting strategies to enhance the fan experience.
"After spending many years playing in the Kress Events Center, I'm excited to step into a new role with Green Bay Athletics," Schell said. "My experiences as a student-athlete has taught me many valuable skills that I'm eager to bring off the court and into to the department. I'm truly grateful to have the opportunity to continue my education and make an impact enhancing game-day experience and collaborating with GB Athletic partners."
The Casper, Wyoming native graduated from UW-Green Bay in 2024 with a degree in psychology. She played four years on the Green Bay Volleyball team and broke out her senior season, finishing second on the team in kills and blocks while helping the Phoenix to back-to-back Horizon League Championship game appearances. She was also a marketing intern with the department for the past three seasons, helping to lead the marketing staff on game day and gaining valuable experience on marketing initiatives throughout the season.

Sean Daniels said. "She's been a phenomenal marketing intern for us the past few years and made it an easy choice to bring her back on with us. She has an amazing work ethic, personality and drive to push our department to new heights!"
Schell will be pursuing her Master's Degree in Management with an emphasis in Sports management.
