GREEN BAY, Wis. – Friday afternoon
, the Horizon League announced that the Green Bay-Purdue Fort Wayne men's basketball game on February 12 has been selected to be televised on ESPN2. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. CST at the Kress Center.
February 12 marks the first time the Phoenix has played on a nationally televised ESPN network since its regular-season finale against Milwaukee on March 2, 2024. It is the first time GB has had a nationally televised game at home since Jan. 31, 2020, when they played Northern Kentucky on ESPNU.
Green Bay won the first matchup between the two teams 72-54 at Purdue Fort Wayne on New Year's Day.
Justin Allen poured in 21 points to lead the Phoenix.
Caden Wilkins tacked on a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, and
Marcus Hall also helped out with 15 points and seven rebounds. Corey Hadnot II led Purdue Fort Wayne with 21 points, and Maximus Nelson added 12 points.
Green Bay is 12-10 this season and currently sits at 7-4 in the Horizon League. Purdue Fort Wayne is 13-9 and is tied with the Phoenix for third in the conference standings at 7-4.
