Schell, a former Phoenix Volleyball student-athlete, will continue to help oversee the Phoenix game day environment while implementing new and exciting strategies to enhance the fan experience. Schell will also assist with Phoenix Athletics fundraising and development.
"Danilynn is the type of person that you do whatever you can to keep her on your staff, and I am so happy that we were able to do that," said Senior Associate AD for External Operations,
Sean Daniels. "She has an incredible work ethic and drive to make everything better around her. I'm excited to see what she can do in this role for Green Bay Athletics!"
The Casper, Wyoming native graduated from UW-Green Bay in 2024 with a degree in psychology. She played four years on the Green Bay Volleyball team and broke out her senior season, finishing second on the team in kills and blocks while helping the Phoenix to back-to-back Horizon League Championship game appearances. She was also a marketing intern with the department for three seasons, helping to lead the marketing staff on game day and gaining valuable experience on marketing initiatives throughout the season.
"I am extremely grateful for the leadership team at Green Bay for believing in me and allowing me to step into this incredible opportunity to continue my career with the Phoenix," Schell continued. "My time here as a student-athlete and a graduate assistant has taught me many valuable skills and shown me firsthand how supportive our Phoenix family is. Green Bay is truly a special place, and as the Marketing and Development Coordinator, I look forward to making a lasting impact by bringing new energy to our promotions, building deeper connections with our supporters, and driving the future growth of our athletic programs."
