Why Join?
By supporting the Phoenix Fund, you demonstrate a commitment to Phoenix Athletics and the student-athletes that work hard every day to earn the honor of being a Phoenix.

The Phoenix Fund is the umbrella for all giving to Green Bay athletics, excluding capital and endowment projects. Gifts are directed towards scholarships and operating expenses for our programs (equipment, travel, recruiting).

Significant changes have come to Division I athletics and the cost to compete, recruit and provide scholarships has increased drastically. Green Bay needs to be prepared to meet these standards in order to compete for Championships. We hope you will consider a membership in the Phoenix Fund and continue your commitment to helping our student-athletes compete at the highest level!

Ways to Give
ANNUAL FUND
Our most popular form of giving is an annual contribution. Join the Phoenix Fund as an individual or business. Contributions can be made in the form of cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover or AMEX.

ENDOWMENT
Ensure your legacy through athletics with an endowed scholarship. The interest from your major gift will be utilized to provide scholarship support for student-athletes from inception to the future.

PLANNED GIFT
Planned and deferred gifts are becoming increasingly popular, allowing for more flexibility and tax-saving options. Insurance policies, annuities, wills and trusts allow you to leave a legacy to Green Bay Athletics.

GIFTS-IN-KIND
In lieu of monetary donations, the Phoenix Fund can accept certain gifts and services. These types of contributions allow the Phoenix Fund to offset expenses. Donors receive credit for donations. Gifts-in-kind must be approved by the Director of Athletics and the Phoenix Fund Executive Committee.

MEMORIAL GIFT
Remember the loss of a friend or loved one with a memorial gift. Your gift will be placed in the athletics endowment. It will also be announced to the family of the deceased.

CORPORATE MATCHING
Increase your gift to the Phoenix Fund throughout company matching gift funds. Please consult your employer's benefits office for more information.

Tax Information
A portion of your gift to the Phoenix Fund may be deductible as a charitable contribution. The value of any benefits received (parking passes, food/beverages) will be deducted from the value of a donation at its fair market value. An acknowledgement letter will be sent to you upon receiving your gift and will serve as a receipt.
