Sam Gauerke joined the sports medicine staff in January 2021. She works primarily with the women's soccer and nordic ski teams.
Gauerke received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2018, while there she was a four-year letter winner for the university's women's soccer team. After graduating she went on to obtain her master's in Exercise Science from Concordia University - St. Paul in 2020. While at Concordia - St. Paul, she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer for their football, volleyball, and softball teams.
Sam, her husband Zach, and her son Jackson reside in Green Bay and are avid Wisconsin sports fans.
