Elizabeth Murray is going into her third year as an assistant coach for the Green Bay Phoenix softball team in the 2018-19 season. She oversees the team's pitching and catching development and assists the head coach in all other aspects of the program.

Prior to coming to Green Bay, Murray spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons as an assistant softball coach at the University of Wisconsin - Parkside, a Division II school. Before that, she worked as a graduate assistant softball coach at the University of Sioux Falls during the 2013 and 2014 seasons, where she aided the team with the transition from a NAIA program to a successful Division II softball program. Murray helped the team qualify for the team's first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament Appearance in history during the 2014 season, coaching the Sioux Falls team from a 15-30 record in the previous year to a 30-17 record.

Murray obtained her Master's of Business Administration in the spring of 2014 from the University of Sioux Falls. She received her B.A. in Sport Management with an emphasis in Accounting and Business at Augustana University in 2012.

A native of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Murray was a student-athlete herself at Augustana University, where she was a four-year starting catcher for the Vikings. Not only was she a member of the All-Conference, Academic All-Conference, and Conference Championship team in 2012, but her team qualified for the Division II World Series.
