Gianna Boburka joined the Green Bay Phoenix Swimming and Diving staff in the fall of 2018. She will assist the coaches in all administrative tasks, including coaching practices and recruitment.
Boburka acquired experience coaching the South Fayette Aqua Club swim team during the summer of 2018, but she also comes to the program with former collegiate swimming experience herself, competing as captain of the Division III Saint Vincent College team in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. During her senior year as a student-athlete, she helped her team to the best conference finish the team had ever accomplished, second place in the President's Athletic Conference.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Boburka earned her bachelor's degree in International Business with concentrations in Operational Excellence and Entrepreneurship in May 2018. She also obtained a Certificate in Lean Six Sigma with a Green Belt during her undergraduate studies.
