Sat out for the first half of the season due to injury. Placed 5^th in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:33.79 at her first meet back vs. Northern Michigan (1/13) ….Placed 4^th in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:28.53 vs. Milwaukee (1/27) ….Placed 6^th in the 100 freestyle with a time of 54.59 at the Notre Dame – Ball State Tri Meet (2/4) ….Finished 7^th in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:19.99, 14^th in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:06.08, and 16^th in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.05 at the 2018 Horizon League Championships (2/25)

Robelot on Macco – “Having Emily in our backyard has given us a few opportunities to watch her develop in-person this year. It seems like every time she hits the water, she gets faster. As a natural physical talent, her gifts have endowed her with a heavy-hitting breaststroke as well as speed in fly, IM, and free. Her grit at the end of the race is especially rare, and she has the raw physicality to match it. There's no telling how fast Emily will get in the next 4 years, but she will certainly be a player in our conference. "
