Shorewood Park, formerly a 9-hole golf course, has been transformed into a vibrant outdoor recreation grounds that everyone can benefit from. Enjoy a variety of activities amidst stunning natural beauty.

Shorewood Park is a place to connect with nature, challenge yourself and enjoy the outdoors. University Recreation uses the Outdoor Adventure Center for equipment rentals, skills classes, as well as maps & information about the universities outdoor facilities. (UREC Outdoors)

The park offers an extensive trail network perfect for cross country running, hiking, biking, and walking. In the winter, the trails are gorromed for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. (Trails)

Shorewood also features an ROTC Land Navigation Course, and a new Disc Golf Course. The Shorewood Disc Golf Course, designed by nationally known disc golf designer and pro, Cale Leiviska, is a must-play for disc golf enthusiasts.
