YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay Phoenix volleyball team continued its winning ways on Friday night, taking down Youngstown State 3-1 on the road to improve to 5-0 in league play this season. The Phoenix (13-4, 5-0 HL) has now won five straight to start Horizon League play, with three of those wins coming on the road following its win over the Penguins (7-12, 1-4) at the Beeghly Center.
Megan Powers registered 12 kills and hit .600 on the night, while Lydia DeWeese hit .500 with 10 kills. Maddie Yoss notched 38 assists, while three players recorded double-digit digs.
