GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay volleyball team will hit the road for two more matches this upcoming weekend, traveling to UIC on Friday and Milwaukee on Saturday for another slate of Horizon League action.

OPPONENT OUTLOOK
UIC enters the weekend fresh off a 3-1 win over Youngstown State, which snapped a three-match losing streak prior to that. The Flames sit at an even 5-5 in HL play this year, and lost 3-1 to Green Bay at the Kress Center back on Sept. 30. UIC is led by Kyisha Hunt, who is averaging 3.98 kills per set and has played in every set this year. 
Series History: The Flames own the edge all-time 36-23, but Green Bay has now won five-straight in the series and three of those in straight sets. 

Milwaukee has been playing quite well of late, winning three of their last four including two 3-2 wins dramatic wins. The Panthers knocked off league-leading Oakland last weekend before falling to defending-champ Cleveland State the next day, and now sit at 4-6 in the league. Milwaukee's .216 hitting percentage as a team is fourth overall in the league thus far, while the team also ranks third in blocks (2.17/set) and third in service aces (1.31/set).
Series History: Despite Milwaukee dominating the all-time series 48-19, Green Bay has reeled off five-straight wins with four of them coming in straight sets. 

SECOND TIME AROUND
Green Bay will face a pair of teams this weekend it already defeated at home earlier this year to open Horizon League play. The two wins were the third and fourth straight HL wins to start the conference season, and just past the midway point of league play sits at 6-4 and in fourth place. 

RANKINGS UPDATE
Green Bay leads the Horizon League in assists at 13.6 assists per set, and also ranks No. 1 in kills at 14.25 kills per set. Senior Lydia DeWeese ranks second in the HL in hitting percentage at .348, while Maddie Yoss sits atop the statistics category in assists with 11.58 per set.
