GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay volleyball team will hit the road to close out their regular 2017 season with two final matches, facing off with Cleveland State on Friday and heading to Northern Kentucky on Saturday.

OPPONENT OUTLOOK
Cleveland State will come into the match strong, coming off a nine-game win streak, the longest active win streak in the league. The Vikings, ranked first in the HL overall, lead the league in hitting percentage, assists and kills. Seniors Alexis Middlebrooks and Gina Kilner, along with junior Rachel Stover, rank in the top ten for hitting percentage with .335, .327. and .275, respectively. Cleveland State is one win away from a 20 win season for the third year in a row.
Series History:
Cleveland State leads the series 18-38, coming off a 3-2 win at Green Bay on Oct. 13.
Northern Kentucky is looking to close out their regular season with a win. The Norse, sitting at number six in the league, have gone two for four in their last four matches. Northern Kentucky holds first place in digs this season with an average of 17.97 digs per set, thanks in part to freshman libero Ashton Terrill, who averages 3.57 digs per set. The Norse rank in the top five teams in the HL for service aces with 1.16 per set. Terrill and senior McKenzie Eskridge earned their way into the top ten for aces, with 0.26 and 0.23. On the other side of the net, junior outside hitter Haley Libs is number five in the league for kills with 3.57 kills per set.
Series History: Northern Kentucky leads the series 3-6, but Green Bay won 3-1 at their last meeting on Oct. 14.
ROUND TWO
Green Bay is looking for a sweep against two teams they played earlier this season. Cleveland State handed the Phoenix their third Horizon League loss in mid-October, followed by a Green Bay win against Northern Kentucky the next day. Green Bay is looking for a double win, increasing their HL record to 10-6.
RANKINGS UPDATE
Green Bay holds second place in assists at 13.20 assists per set, and second in kills with 13.88 kills per set. The Phoenix rank third in hitting percentage with .230. Senior
Lydia DeWeese leads the HL in hitting percentage with .349. DeWeese, along with freshman
Taylor Wolf, earned their way into the top ten for kills per set, with 3.26 and 3.14.
