PHOENIX RISING
The Green Bay women's basketball team picked up wins over Dayton and Loyola on the road last week and was rewarded in the AP Top 25 and USA Today Coaches Polls, moving up to No. 21 and No. 24, respectively. The 21st ranking in the AP Poll marks the highest spot for the Phoenix since entering the 2013 NCAA Tournament at No. 20.

LINDSTROM IN THE LIMELIGHT
Jessica Lindstrom was the driving force to Green Bay's 2-0 record in a pair of road games last week, averaging 21.5 PPG and 14.5 RPG. The strong performances from Lindstrom placed her in the NCAA's #StartingFive in recognition of having one of the best weeks in the country. The senior started the week off with a 29 point and 17 rebound performance to surpass the 1,000 points barrier and move into seventh on Green Bay's all-time rebounding list. The 29 points scored at Dayton set a new career high for the Wisconsin native and the 17-rebound effort tied her previous career best. She finished the week with a double-double in both games.

BATTLE ON THE BOARDS
Green Bay has dominated the battle on the boards all season long, outrebounding its opponents in every matchup this season. In total, the Phoenix holds a 361-270 rebounding edge over its opposition through nine games.

DEFENSIVE DOMINANCE
Green Bay currently owns the best statistical defense in the country, allowing a lowly 46.8 PPG. That stat alone is impressive, but when you factor in that five of its nine matchups this season have featured opponents that competed in the 2017 NCAA Tournament - one of which was the national runner-up - it's even more impressive. Most recently, the Phoenix held Loyola the 39 points - marking its third opponent this season unable to reach 40 points.

LINDSTROM JOINS THE CLUB
Jessica Lindstrom turned in one of the most impressive performances of her Phoenix career on last Wednesday when the team took the floor at UD Arena against Dayton, scoring a career-high 29 points and matching another career high with 17 rebounds. The senior also became the 36th member in program history to score 1,000 points in their career and the 24th to do so in the division I era.
