ALL-TIME SERIES VS NORTHERN KENTUCKY
The Phoenix owned a perfect record of 5-0 against the Norse prior to this year's upset in Highland Heights on Dec. 30 that saw Green Bay suffer its lone league loss of the season, 62-54.
LINDSTROM MAKING LEAPS
In Green Bay's matchup at Oakland,
Jessica Lindstrom turned in her ninth double-double of the season and 32nd of her career with 22 points and 13 rebounds. She also became the program's all-time leader for rebounds in the division I era. Lindstrom currently ranks tied for third (first in the D1 era) on Green Bay's all-time rebounding list with with Julie Steeno at 889 rebounds.
WINNING TRADITION
Green Bay has secured its 41st-consecutive winning season this year and trails only Tennessee (44) for the longest active streak in the nation. Green Bay's streak includes 19-straight conference titles and 17 NCAA Tournament appearances. The Phoenix will also attempt to secure its 19th-consecutive 20-plus win season with a win over the Norse, a streak dating back to 1999-00.
NOTHING PERSONAL FEBRUARY
Green Bay has historically dominated the month of January, owning a 31-1 record over the past four seasons in the first month of the New Year. The Phoenix has won 17-straight games in January and is undefeated on the road in that four-year span.
THE RISING PHOENIX
Green Bay continued its climb in both the AP Poll and USA Today Coaches Poll this week, rising to No. 20 and No. 20, respectively. The Phoenix ranks second on collegeinsider.com's mid-major poll and third on espn.com's mid-major poll.
GREEN BAY VS TOP 100 RPI
It was apparent Green Bay was going to face major tests early and often in the 2017-18 campaign when the schedule was unveiled back in July. Although the season is far from over, it's fair to say the Phoenix has dominated to date, currently owning an 8-1 record against teams in the top 100 RPI.
DEFENSIVE DISPLAY
It is no secret that Green Bay's defense has been locking down teams all season, currently boasting the best statistical defense in the country and allowing only 45.2 PPG. Most recently, the defense held league-foe IUPUI to just 12 points in the second half of its comeback victory this past Sunday. The Phoenix finished with a 19-4 run to secure a 52-45 win and take sole possession of first place in the league.
BATTLE ON THE BOARDS
Green Bay has dominated the battle on the boards all season long, outrebounding its opponents in 18 of its 21 matchups this season. In total, the Phoenix holds a 797-625 rebounding edge over its opposition through 21 games.
DEFENSIVE DOMINANCE
Green Bay currently owns the best statistical defense in the country, allowing a lowly 45.2 PPG. That stat alone is impressive, but when you factor in that five matchups this season have featured opponents that competed in the 2017 NCAA Tournament - one of which was the national runner-up - it's even more impressive. Green Bay ranks 17th in RPI entering the matchup with IUPUI.
PAINTING A PICTURE
Green Bay has dominated the paint this season and held an advantage scoring inside every game this year. All told, the Phoenix has outscored its opponents 712-269 in the paint through 21 games and held a double-digit scoring advantage inside in 19 games this year.
