GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay women's soccer team fell at home to Detroit Mercy in overtime on Saturday afternoon, as the Titans' Nasreen Kobeissi turned past a Phoenix defender and fired a shot high into the GB net to seal a 1-0 victory for UDM.

Neither squad was able to find any offensive success through the regulation, with the two goalies combining to record seven saves. McKayla Kertshcer led the Phoenix attack with two shots on-goal and teammates
Nicole Piette and
Kendra Wolfgram each placed one.

Green Bay (2-11-1, 0-5-1 HL) and Detroit Mercy (5-7-3, 1-4-1 HL) were deadlocked in almost every category for 90 minutes, but less than two minutes into overtime, Kobeissi was able to get by her defender and fire a shot high and over the goalie for the victory

Both squads amassed six shots, with the Titans owning a slight edge in shots on-goal at 5-4. Detroit Mercy also had a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.

The Titans have now pieced together consecutive victories, while GB will look to snap a two-game skid when it travels to Chicago for a matchup with UIC on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
