Green Bay Welcomes Dayton to Kress Center Saturday Afternoon


GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- Green Bay looks to secure its third-straight victory on Saturday afternoon when the team welcomes Dayton to the Kress Center for a 1 p.m. tipoff.

TERRIFIC TUESDAY
Green Bay's matchup Tuesday night turned out to be a favorable one for the Phoenix, who claimed a 70-39 victory over Maine at the Kress Center. GB tallied season highs in field-goal percentage, points scored and held Maine to season low in points allowed. Maine's previous low was 63 points versus No. 20 Duke.
 
ROBSON ROLLING
Sophomore Lyndsey Robson scored a career-high 18 points on a 6-of-9 effort from the field on Tuesday night, burying a career-best four three-pointers in the process. Robson finished with two rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes while notching her second-consecutive game in double figures.
 
LOOK OUT FOR LAKEN
Redshirt senior Laken James has enjoyed back-to-back games with career-high marks in scoring, most recently amassing 12 points against Maine on a 6-for-10 performance from the field. James also pulled down three rebounds and finished with a game-high five assists in the contest.
 
FACING THE FLYERS
Dayton has been led by Julia Chandler, who transferred to Dayton after her freshman and sophomore seasons and currently averages 18 points in her first playing season with the Flyers. Chandler recently finished with a career-high 23 points against No. 9/10 Maryland as Dayton fell 82-71. The all-time series against Dayton is tied 2-2, but the Phoenix won the most recent meeting, 75-64, on Dec. 6, 2017.
