QUICK PREVIEW

TERRIFIC TRIO
Green Bay is led by a trio of high-flying  and athletic scorers so far this season, with each averaging over 13 points per game. Sandy Cohen III leads the way with 14.3 PPG, thanks to a 16-point performance in his most recent outing. ShanQuan Hemphill has also been very impressive in his first season at GB, averaging 14.0 PPG. JayQuan McCloud has also come through for the Phoenix this year in his first GB season, averaging 13.7 PPG. The three have each been on a tear of late, and now account for nearly half (49.7 percent) the team's offensive production. All three have scored in double-figures in four out of the last five games.

TOTALLY TURNOVERS
The Phoenix defense has used its pressure and fast pace tempo this year to make teams uncomfortable, and has seen an uptick in its turnovers forced as a result. GB is enjoying a +5.0 turnover margin this year, thanks to forcing its opponents into 17 turnovers a game, a massive improvement from last year. In 2017-18, GB had a -0.1 turnover margin and only forced 13.1 turnovers per game. The Phoenix has forced double-digit turnovers in every game this year and has forced at least 16 in six of its nine games.

HOT AT HOME
GB has been great in its four home games this year, averaging 92.2 PPG and a +15 scoring margin while shooting just under 50 percent (49.7 percent). The team is averaging 18 assists and 11.5 steals per game at the Kress and Resch Center and is 3-1 in those games. GB is 2-0 at the Resch Center, but will be looking for its first victory at the Kress Center this season after falling 78-74 to Indiana State on Nov. 9.

LEADING THE LEAGUE
Averaging 84.4 PPG through nine games this season, Green Bay leads all Horizon League teams in scoring average so far. The team has scored 70 plus points in eight out of nine games, and has now hit the century mark twice after beating Belmont 100-92 on Dec. 1. The Phoenix also leads the HL in turnover margin at plus 5 and is second in assist to turnover ratio with a 1.3 to 1. Under Darner, GB has three of the top six highest scoring average seasons in program history, and is currently above last year's average of 76.3 PPG.
