LONG DISTANCE CALL
Green Bay connected on a season-high 13 made 3-pointers in its most recent game at Northern Kentucky, finishing 13-for-29 (44.8 percent). The team actually made more 3s than it did baskets inside the arc (12) against the Norse, nearly pulling off the road upset. GB hit 11 3s in its prior game at Wright State, which had tied the season high up until that point. Green Bay has made 11 or more 3-pointers in 10 games this year, led by the seniors Khalil Small (44) and David Jesperson (42), who have combined for 86 made 3s.

SENIOR DAY 2018
The program will recognize a pair of seniors prior to Friday's game in Khalil Small and David Jesperson. Combined, the duo has played in over 170 games and scored over 1,500 points. This year alone, Small and Jesperson have started and played in all 28 games and are first and second on the team in 3-pointers made. Small ranks 17th all-time in program history in scoring and is averaging a career-best 17.6 PPG this season, his third-straight season averaging in double-figures. Jesperson averaged just 2.4 PPG and played 8.6 MPG last season, but this year in his senior campaign is averaging 7.5 PPG and 23.5 MPG.

JOCKEYING FOR SEEDING
Green Bay currently sits in the No. 8 seed in the Horizon League standings, which means it would play the last game on the first day of Motor City Madness on Friday, Mar. 2, against the No. 9 seed (currently Cleveland State). With three games left on the schedule for the Phoenix, the team has the opportunity to play its way in to the No. 6 seed, which would allow the team to avoid playing on Friday night. GB split with YSU, Milwaukee and Cleveland State, all teams it's battling for position with. IUPUI won both meetings, and would hold the tiebreaker should there be one.

NOT SMALL NUMBERS
Senior Khalil Small currently owns 494 career rebounds, six away from No. 500. Small would become just the seventh player in program history to score 1,200 points and grab 500 rebounds over the course of their Green Bay careers. Small has already recorded career season-highs in points, rebounds, steals, free throws made, 3-pointers made and minutes played.

SMALL CLIMBING THE LADDER
Khalil Small notched his 1,000th career point on Jan. 4, becoming just the 28th player in program history to reach that milestone. He has scored in double-figures in 27 of 28 games this year, the most double-figure scoring games by any HL player this season. Below is where Small ranks all-time in career scoring at UWGB:

15.    Ben Berlowski (1992-95) - 1255
16.    Troy Cotton (2006-10) – 1251
17     Khalil Small (2014-18) - 1226
18.    Matt Rohde (2001-05) – 1194
