YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (GreenBayPhoenix.com) ---The Green Bay softball team earned a split on Saturday afternoon at Youngstown State, falling in a one-sided contest, 9-2, before coming from behind to claim a 3-2 win in the series finale.

Youngstown State hit four home runs in the first game of the day, helping to solidify a 9-2 victory and seal the series win for the Penguins.

Chyanne Onstad, who went 2-for-4 in game one, and Oliva Magadi.

The Penguins increased its winning streak to nine games with the win, but the Phoenix wouldn't let it reach double digits.

Green Bay bounced back and scored two runs in the top of the seventh on Onstad's two-out, two-run double down the right-field line.

The Phoenix shut the Penguins down in the final inning and secured a 3-2 win, improving to 7-12 in Horizon League play.
