Men's Soccer Looks to Retain Chancellor's Cup at Milwaukee on Saturday

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men's soccer team will be heading south tomorrow to compete in the annual Chancellor's Cup match with in-state-rival Milwaukee. The game is set to kickoff at 7:00 p.m. at Engelmann Stadium.

Chancellor's Cup Match Overview
The annual Chancellor's Cup has been tightly contested in recent years, with 18 of the matches in the all-time series going to overtime periods. Last season, the Phoenix took back possession of the cup after a 2-1 win in overtime on Milwaukee turf. In the last eight pairings, Green Bay owns a record of 4-2-2, and the Phoenix will look to keep the cup in its hands with a win or draw.

The Green Bay men's soccer team is looking to pick up another conference game win, holding a record of 2-1-0 in Horizon League play by besting Cleveland State and shutting out IUPUI in overtime, but falling to Northern Kentucky. The Panthers have tallied a win and a tie so far, besting the Norse last weekend but tying the Vikings in double OT.

Green Bay trails in the all-time series with Milwaukee, owning a record of 17-25-5 when taking the field against the Panthers. However, the Phoenix has managed to get the best of its in-state rival recently, boasting a record of 6-2-2 in the ten most recent contests.
