DETROIT, Mich. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay women's basketball team notched its fourth-consecutive victory in Horizon League play Friday night, defeating Detroit Mercy (3-14,1-5) at Calihan Hall, 65-40.
Hailey Oskey enjoyed a career evening in the matchup, scoring a career-high 20 points and finishing 6-for-10 from the field while burying six triples in 25 minutes. Seniors
Laken James and
Carly Mohns joined Oskey in double digits with 10 points and 14 points, respectively.
Green Bay (10-6,5-1) forced 21 turnovers in the pairing and surrendered only 10, capitalizing with a 24-10 edge in points off turnovers. A strong 15-3 advantage led to 14 second-chance points for Green Bay and zero for the Titans.
The Phoenix returns to the court on Sunday at the O'rena to face Oakland at 2 p.m. (CT).
