KRASH THE KRESS
The 2nd annual Krash the Kress game highlights Friday night, an even that welcomed over 3,800 fans last year in the first event. GB fell to UIC at the Kress Center last season in the first-ever event. A tailgate party will take place in the Kress Center East and West Gyms from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. to get everyone ready to cheer on the Phoenix! The UW-Green Bay Pep Band, Green Bay cheerleaders and Phlash will be there too. There are also art and music events surrounding Homecoming. Over 1,000 students, 500 alumni and 2,000 Phoenix fans are expected in attendance. GB is 2-1 at the Kress Center this season.

HELPS TO BE HOME
GB is 7-2 at home this season, and has won 6 out of its last 7 games in Green Bay. The Phoenix is averaging 92.2 PPG at home this year, and is outscoring its opponent by 14.9 points on average. Sandy Cohen III and JayQuan McCloud are both averaging just over 17 PPG at home this season, while ShanQuan Hemphill is also in double-figures with 12.9 PPG. GB is also averaging 8.7 made 3s per game at home, and is enjoying a plus-6.3 turnover margin. GB will not play five of its last nine games at home, where it has gone 3-1 in Horizon League play this year.

AIR McNAIR
Junior Josh McNair has now started three-straight games since getting his first career start in a win over UIC on Jan. 19. Over those three games, McNair is shooting a team-best 64.7 percent (11-17) from the field and is averaging 9.0 PPG after netting a career-high 13 points on the road at Wright State. The Colorado native is playing over 28 minutes a game and leads the team with 4 steals over those last three, also drawing the assignment of playing the opponents' best offensive threat.

SHOOTING THE JAY
JayQuan McCloud has continued to shoulder the load offensively for the Phoenix, scoring in double-figures in 8 of 9 league games this season. He ranks 8th in the Horizon League in scoring in HL play with 16.7 PPG, two points higher than his season average of 14.8 PPG. Has six 20-plus point scoring games this season, and Green Bay is a perfect 6-0 in those games. He's also made multiple 3-pointers in 8 of 9 league games so far.

I-43 RIVALRY
The in-state rivalry between Green Bay and Milwaukee will hold its 63rd meeting all-time on Friday night. The Phoenix has really owned the series of late, winning six of the last seven overall, including four-straight games at home. GB leads the all-time series 38-25 and is 22-9 all-time at home against Panthers. GB won 92-82 in Milwaukee to open HL play on Dec. 29, and will be going for the season sweep four the fourth-straight season as well. Head coach Linc Darner is 6-2 all-time against the Panthers and is 3-0 at home against them.
