HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- Green Bay seniors Jen Wellnitz, Laken James and Carly Mohns all turned in career-high marks to lead the Phoenix (7-6, 2-1) to victory over Northern Kentucky (3-11, 2-2) on Saturday afternoon at the BB&T Arena, 81-61.
 
Wellnitz poured in 21 points on an 8-of-13 effort from the field while going 4-for-5 from the charity stripe. James surpassed her career high for the second-straight game, scoring 18 points in 35 minutes to best her 15-point performance against Wright State on Thursday.
 
Mohns reached double digits for the first time in her GB career in the matchup, amassing 13 points on a 6-of-7 performance from the field in 28 minutes. Redshirt freshman Anna Brecht joined the seniors in double digits with a career-high 11 points and buried three triples in 10 minutes.
 
Green Bay returns home for its first Horizon League contests of the season next week, as the Phoenix welcomes Cleveland State on Thursday night and Youngstown State on Saturday.
