QUICK PREVIEW

GB KNOWS 3-0
With its one-point dramatic win over Cleveland State, Green Bay has now started at least 3-0 in three of the four seasons under head coach Linc Darner. The team started 3-0 and 4-0 in 2015-16 and 2016-17, respectively, and will look to make it another 4-0 start in 2018-19.

DETROIT DOMINANCE
Green Bay has really dominated the recent meetings against Detroit Mercy and Oakland, winning five in a row and six of the last seven overall. GB went a perfect 4-0 against those teams last year in the regular season, and added another win in Motor City Madness when it knocked off Detroit. Darner and the Phoenix will look to stay hot against its HL foes from Metro Detroit.

POINTS A PLENTY
After scoring 90 or more points in its first three HL games to start conference play, Green Bay currently leads the league in scoring averaging 93.7 PPG and 86.0 PPG overall. GB is 11th in the NCAA in scoring, and would rank second in the NCAA with its 93.7 PPG average in league play. The current average of 86.0 PPG would be the highest team scoring average under Darner, besting the 2015-16 team that averaged 83.7 PPG.

CAPTAIN COHEN
Senior Sandy Cohen III wore his cape in his most recent game, pouring in 30 points and knocking down the game-winner at the buzzer. The Seymour native continues to be the only player in all of NCAA Division I to lead his team in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, blocks and minutes. Cohen is now third in the HL in scoring with 22.3 points per game, and has scored 20 or more points in four out of his last six games. He's reached double-figures in 14 of 16 games this year, and also ranks in the top 10 in both rebounding and assists in the HL, joining Tarkus Ferguson as the only two players to rank in the HL top 10 of all three categories.

SHOOTING THE JAY
Junior JayQuan McCloud would have probably taken home HL Player of the Week honors in any other week, after averaging 24.5 PPG in his team's two wins against YSU and CSU. McCloud has reached double-figures in five-straight games and he has scored 20 or more points five times this season. He ranks 4th in the HL in scoring, giving GB two of the top four scorers in all of the Horizon League. McCloud also leads the Phoenix in 3-pointers made with 34, and is shooting over 83 percent at the free throw line.
